ABOUT MCGH
Since 2019, My Cousin’s Girlfriend’s House has carved its nook in the Philadelphia and East Coast music scenes, continually evolving and honing its sound as they progress.
Building off their foundation of pop punk, emo, and indie rock, the band’s original material incorporates a touch of each member’s influence and palette for a unique sonic blend. From bluegrass, surf, and garage rock to metal, funk, jam band, punk, and classic rock, MCGH brings a familiar yet fresh take on the four-piece rock-adjacent outfit.
The quartet’s enthralling live performance provides a spark of energy through explosive guitars, pounding rhythms, infectious melodies, and a juggling act of three and four-part harmonies. All while keeping it real and fostering connection throughout the shared experience. MCGH has toured regionally, as far west as Minneapolis, south as Charleston, and north as Portland, Maine.
Joining Fred Mascherino’s (Taking Back Sunday, Say Anything, The Color Fred) Heading East Records, MCGH released their label-debut EP “All For Love & All For Nothing” in August 2024. In February 2026, the band released a surprise collection of “hardcore fusion” parody songs, coined the “PP/EP”, as a promotional launch for their actual new music.
The band released their latest single “Time Bomb” on March 13, 2026, produced and engineered by Mascherino and Steve Angello (The Color Fred) at Diver Down Studios in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
MCGH’s greatest strength is true friendship, genuine respect, and admiration for one another as musicians and people. Their honesty and drive allow them to evolve and progress, challenging each other to get the best out of one another and craft a sound that’s authentic and unique to themselves.
